So I just realized that I have one journal entry and it's not even a real update, not to mention it's from almost a full year ago. Not that it matters all that much, but to any of you that actually do want to know what I'm up to, her I go to rant a little bit.

As I sit amongst the clothes and junk on my floor, I still cannot figure out PaintshopPro. How can this happen?! Seriously! I have had 2 lessons on it from a good friend and I still can't figure out how to color my drawings. How technically retarded can I get?! I think I can figure it out if only I can understand how to get my color pallet to stop being gray and how to make my layers so I can actually color them without coloring over the lines. After about an hour or so of browsing deviantart while trying to figure out how to fix these two problems I usually give up and quit (and yes, this has been happening for about a week).

Other than that I am pretty dang great! I feel as if I am adapting well to my new job and I actually have fun doing it! How weird is that? I love helping handicapped persons! I seriously go home relatively happy everyday even though I pull 5-7 hour shifts Monday through Friday. Don't get me wrong, it is quite frustrating sometimes (like today) but then something happens that just brightens everything up and I know that everything is ok.

For example: the other day I broke down completely. I have braces on my bottom teeth but not on my top and everytime I smile or laugh I have a bit of self-consciousness run through me and I feel like all anyone can see is my horrible, terrible, ugly looking teeth. I've been told that they're not as bad as I think they are, but that doesn't stop me from feeling they are. Well yesterday I had an orthodontist appointment directly after work, not the greatest thing to look forward to after work. However, as I sat there uncomfortably in that chair something happened. My orthodontist examined my teeth, said they were coming along well, and then decided that at my next appointment we can put braces on my top teeth. As crazy as it sounds, that made my whole day. In my opinion it's early on early off. The sooner I can get those braces on my top teeth, the sooner I can get them off, and the sooner I can actually smile and laugh without feeling embarrassed! At this moment in time I feel awesome. ^__^

So as soon as I learn what I'm doing wrong on PaintshopPro you'll all know about it, and in 2 years I will have a wonderful face! Yay!
